(BEIJING, September 13) -- The Fencing Hall in the National Conference Center will be a competition venue for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2008.

From August 9-17, 2008 and from August 21-22, 2008 the Fencing Hall will hold the fencing event (lowest ticket price 50 Yuan and highest ticket price 100 Yuan) and the fencing and air pistol disciplines of the Modern Pentathlon (ticket prices 30-50 Yuan) at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

During the Paralympic Games, it will also hold the Wheelchair Fencing and Boccia events.

The fencing training gymnasium is located on the first floor banquet hall of the National Conference Center. The game-management rooms are on the second floor. The formal competition venue is on the fourth floor.

This weekend, 76 athletes from 19 countries and regions will meet in the Fencing Hall to participate in the fencing and air pistol disciplines of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 Modern Pentathlon World Cup Final.
